We have a great pleasure to announce the new-old Belgrade blues festival. Building on the seven-year-long tradition of Voxstock, Blues Stock Festival intends to continue with the same rhythm and atmosphere for a long time. We will keep all that is good, foremost the time and the place because the first Saturday of summer and the Ski Staza have proven ideal. We will also introduce some changes that should make the festival even better.

Of course, the music will stay unchanged – BLUES in all its forms present today. That's why we have changed the name. It was about time that the character of our gathering was reflected in the festival's name itself. We hope you wouldn't mind. The key change occurred where it's most important – in our programme. While Voxstock relied exclusively on the European blues forces, Blues Stock this time brings a band from America and every following year will make an effort to introduce at least one significant name from the homeland of blues.

We would like to thank, first of all the musicians who have performed on the past seven Voxstocks. Also, the people who helped with Voxstock's realization, all sponsors and friends of the festival who have made it possible and, of course, Budimir Vuletić, its founder.

Blues Stock Festival will be a worthy successor and guardian of this beautiful tradition.
